PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – A Panama City man is facing child sex charges.
Bay County Sheriff’s deputies said they arrested 29-year-old, Shawn Robidoux.
According to Bay County Sheriff’s Office, Robidoux traveled to Hattiesburg, Mississippi last week after meeting the teenager on social media. Robidoux brought her back to Panama City and had sex with her at least five times then returned her to Mississippi, authorities said.
The teenager reported the encounter to Mississippi authorities on May 17, allegedly identifying Robidoux from a photographic lineup, authorities added.
Robidoux was charged with five counts of lewd or lascivious battery on a child under the age of 15. He was also charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, authorities wrote.
He is being held in the Bay County Jail, on a $131,000 bond.
