“When we do viewings there’s a security guard who brings out all of those pieces for every appointment because they have to be manned by a security guard,” he said.

Hermes handbags are notoriously hard to buy due to the label’s strict quota system. Wannabe buyers must have a purchase history with the brand to buy in a boutique and, as a result, the waiting list for the aspirational accessories can be months or even years long with prices starting at $10,000 and going up to $2 million.

“When we work with developers or private clients, we curate and deliver fully turnkey properties featuring the best of the best. For this apartment, we were able to take it to another level based on the price point,” he said.
“Normally we have much longer to work on a project but this time we only had three weeks. We flew a lot of furniture by air from Paris, Milan and the US and there are art-level furniture pieces like a limited edition one of 10 coffee table by Francesco Balzano worth upwards of $100,000.”

Freeman added that everything internally had been designed specifically for the space including custom-designed bedheads and bedding, a dining table and chairs made to match the joinery in the kitchen where there is a full service of option of Baccarat and Hermes glassware, plates, cutlery, utensils, plus bespoke bedding and towelling in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
