WALTON COUNTY, FL. (WMBB) – On Saturday morning, Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a domestic violence call involving a man and an elderly woman.
According to WCSO officials, the incident happened on Orange Avenue.
Authorities identified the suspect as 36-year-old, Daniel Lee Calvert. Officials said Calvert was believed to be under the influence of narcotics when he assaulted the woman inside the trailer.
Deputies said when they arrived, Calvert ran out the back door and was tased.
Calvert was arrested and transported to the Walton County Jail.
He is charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 or older, false imprisonment, and obstruction without violence. He is awaiting his first appearance.
